The $78 class is Remote Online Notary (RON) — the same thing New York law and the exam call an electronic notary. It does not replace the $77 basic license. Pass the exam, get your New York commission, then take this. It shows you how to register so you can work on a screen. You sit in New York at a computer, under New York law. From there you reach a signer anywhere in the U.S. or another country. Charge up to $25 per remote act.
